Thanks to positive sales figures, Alpha Flight – currently an 8-issue mini by Greg Pak, Fred van Lente, and Dale Eaglesham – is now an ongoing (as confirmed on Ryan Penagos’ twitter). The book, which has spun out of the events of Fear Itself, has received favorable reviews and has been requested for by fans for several years, especially after the team died in New Avengers right after House of M. Now it appears that the team is back and with a vengeance, and where better to announce the ongoing nature of the book than FanExpo in Canada?

Fans of Nick Spencer and Emma Rios’ Cloak and Dagger? Take note.

Congrats to the entire team of the book, and we’re all greatly looking forward to what is to come in the future.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
