We here at Multiversity are big fans of Kieron Gillen, and I personally am a huge fan of the collaboration between him and Jamie McKelvie. The two have recently been announced as the writer/artist duo of Siege: Loki, and that should be exciting for fans of Marvel comics the world over. But, even more importantly than that is the fact that the final uber-delayed issue of Phonogram is out this week on Image Comics, and you should buy it. It doesn’t matter that you didn’t get the last 6, they’re one-shots tied together thematically, and it’s still a story you can enjoy. Most importantly, these two need your support, and if we ever want another Phonogram comic, we better start boosting those sales now, eh?

Of course, now that v2 is coming to a close, I’m sure the trade is right around the corner, so I’ll forgive you a little bit if you buy that the day it comes out. But never the less – keep your eye out for this book this week. If it’s anything like the rest of this book, it’s sure to be (as the Brit-folk say) brilliant.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
