The above teaser was released this morning from Marvel as well as the statement “Find Out How It All Begins.” A quick scan of the image denotes three things for us. 1, the top image is that of the Fear Itself prologue, so it’s safe to say that the prologue is now called “The Book Of The Skull.” 2, the second image looks somewhat like the sketch we’d previously seen of what Fear Itself’s villain would look like in battle with the Invaders. 3, the final image shows Baron Zemo (the original) and Red Skull teamed up shooting off at something in the distance, and what with the title of the issue being “The Book Of the Skull” and the cover featuring a rather large rendition of Red Skull’s skull, it’s safe to say that this is probably somewhat all his fault.
Look for this issue March 16th, with Fear Itself starting a month later in April, and check out the solicit information behind the cut.
