Lots of movie news coming out of Comic Con today! First up is the first actual footage from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 revealing Jamie Foxx as Electro! This is definitely a long way from the green and yellow spandex, but check it out nonetheless.
But what’s really news coming out of Comic Con is that the Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Gina Carano will be staring in a film adaptation of Rob Liefeld’s “Avengelyne”. I… yeah. I got nothing. This speaks for itself.
Liefeld is reportedly rebuilding the story of a fallen angel cast to Earth who searches for the chosen one that will save the Earth from demons as a starring vehicle for Carano in the same vein as the Underworld films. Hollywood Reporting is also reporting that the search for a screenwriting and a director will begin next week so… keep an eye here for more developments as they appear? I know I’m interested to see how this one turns out.
