Epic Games’ multi-platform video game Fortnite is set for its comic book debut in the February issue of manga magazine CoroCoro Comic, set to be released later this month. The four-frame comic will be drawn by Naoto Katsumi (“Kiwamero! Pokémon BW”). Further details on the comic remain scarce, with only the comic’s main character, a boy wielding a rocket launcher and what looks to be an axe, revealed at this time.

Fortnite is developed by Epic Games and was first released in 2017. It currently consists of three different game modes. The first two that were released are Fortnite: Save The World, which sees players in teams of up to four players fighting for survival against zombie-like enemies, and Fortnite: Battle Royale which sees up to one hundred players compete against each other to be the last person standing. The third and recent game mode that was released is Fortnite: Creative which allows players the freedom to construct their own games. It is the Battle Royale mode that has been most successful for the developer, with over 200 million players worldwide as of last month. The game also won the award for the “Best Multiplayer Game” at The Game Awards 2018.

The February issue of CoroCoro Comic is set for release on December 29.
