In an exclusive over at Deadline, it was revealed that Fox has put an adaptation of Warren Ellis’ upcoming novel, Gun Machine, into production.

The novel, about a New York detective who comes across a cache of stored weapons that are revealed to have been connected to a number of different, previously unsolved murders over the past 20 years, will be published this January by Mullholland Books while the TV adaptation will be written by Trauma creator Dario Scardapane and produced by 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment.

Ellis had this to say: “Chernin and Fox pursued Gun Machine with great passion and intelligence, and I couldn’t be happier to be making this show with them.”

Alice W. Castle

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
