Remember that time we were all, “Hey, there’s going to be more Black Beetle comics and it’s going to be called Necrologue and you’re going to want it!” That was cool.

Now, we know a bit more.

Announced over at CBR, this year will see the launch of the new “Black Beetle” five-issue mini-series sub-titled ‘Necrologue.’ Picking up where the last mini left-off in the same mini-that’s-really-an-ongoing style of comics Dark Horse/”Hellboy” pioneered, the series will feed off of some of the events present in “No Way Out” and the scattered intermezzos. There will be some returns, some supernatural stuff and lots of fun comics the way you like them. It should be relatively accessible for new readers, so not to worry too much there, and it should be relatively full of awesome, so that’s plenty to be excited about there.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
