This morning on Twitter, Fred Van Lente teased us with a short but telling message: “So it’s official. I’m writing an AVENGERS book.” He also notes that it will appear in the November solicits, and for those counting this will mark the eighth Avengers title (including two minis) being released by Marvel.
Of course, the question is what is the team going to be? Van Lente added “When it’s announced, I think you’ll agree it’s the most “Van Lentean” AVENGERS title ever…”, but that could mean anything! So far, the guess list on Twitter is pretty epic, but Van Lente says no one has got it yet:
