Much to the chagrin of those who fiercely debated with Matt about comic piracy recently, evidently frequent purveyor of comics Rapidshare has been nixed from allowing its users to distribute copyrighted materials going forward.
What does that mean for Average Joe Comic Reader? Well, if you have problems with purchasing comics and mostly spent your time searching Rapidshare for the latest issue of Blackest Night, your time is up. While there are assuredly other avenues to approach, Rapidshare was a very major provider of these materials and going forward these less than reputable readers will likely be faced with an option: buy or don’t read. Here’s hoping they choose the former.
