As I was flipping through my new copy of Invincible Iron Man #26 this past week I was surprised to find an insert which allowed me to download the first episode of the new motion comic adaptation of Iron Man: Extremis for free on iTunes. At first I believed this to be an Invincible Iron Man exclusive, but Marvel has just announced that throughout the next couple of months you will be able to find similar download codes in the following comics (only for the first episode, unfortunately):

If you haven’t read Warren Ellis’ brilliant Extremis yet (shame on you) and are a fan of Marvel’s new motion comics, then now is as good a time as any to start following this new adaptation. If you’re already buying any of these titles, then there’s no reason to at least check out the digital comic (and if you’re buying more than one you can give the code to a non-comic reading friend who enjoyed the Iron Man films!).
