Marvel has released a teaser for the upcoming Fantastic Four #600 featuring Galactus on the moon in an illustration by Francis Lenil Yu with the quote, “Very soon, your world is going to be broken.” What this is in reference to is up in the air at the moment; it could very well be in relation to the upcoming Shattered Heroes/Battle Scars post-Fear Itself initiative, or something greater. Hickman, one of Marvel’s architects, can certainly be cited as one of the creators to watch in regards to any upcoming major Marvel events (such as the “It’s Coming” teaser), so it’s anyone’s guess at this point.

The book will be on stands next month at 100 pages (according to Tom Brevoort at NYCC), and will supposedly feature the return of Johnny Storm — or something to that effect. It will also mark the splitting point between when Hickman goes from writing one Fantastic title to two, so fans of the book should certainly anticipate what is to come next month.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
