It’s Monday, so we can only assume the one thing you want is some Garfield. Although that’s not what he wants. Garfield hates Mondays. That silly cat.

Come July, Genevieve FT will be appearing as a guest artist in Kaboom’s “Garfield” comic, written by Mark Evanier. You may not be familiar with Genevieve’s art yet, but her style is perfect for this book, and you should expect to probably see more of her in the future.

Here’s the solicit for the issue.

Hide your teddy bears (and, of course, the lasagna)! As summer heats up, make sure you’ve got all the essentials for a day at the beach: sunscreen, a swimsuit, and the latest issue of GARFIELD! This month, guest artist Genevieve FT joins us for the back-up story and this month’s cover! Enjoy a lazy summer day with the Fat Cat!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
