During NYCC 2012, we heard reports of a few new BPRD titles announced at the Hellboy panel (which we did not attend, although we will have some upcoming Mignola-related stuff for you soon). We couldn’t find any additional information besides what we were given, as curious a situation as that is.

Well, the reason we never had any additional information or images to share is that these were all promised to Comics Alliance as exclusives. All throughout last week, they posted an announcement a day with images, all of which sound pretty awesome. Not only that, but apparently all of these storylines tie towards something refered to by Dark Horse EiC Scott Allie as that which leads towards “The End.” That’s certainly ominous.

So today we’re rounding them all up here for you. For the full set of images and information, head on over to the CA links. At the very least, enjoy the titles, creators and covers here:

BPRD: Vampire by Mike Mignola, Fabio Moon and Gabriel Ba. A post-“1948” story of revenge againt the vampires, set for March 2013 and running five issues.

BPRD: Abyss of Time by Mike Mignola and James Harren. Running in issues #103 and #104, group of agents discover an abandoned warehouse that reveals elements of prehistory and the legacy of Ogdru-Hem, set for January 2013.

BPRD: A Cold Day In Hell by Mike Mignola and Peter Snejbjerg. Following “Abyss” in issus #105 and #106, the story follows up “Return of the Mater,” in which the BPRD re-unite with their Russian allies to solve a mystery surrounding a fallen radio tower in the middle of nowhere. Set for March 2013.

BPRD: Wasteland by Mike Mignola and Laurence Campbell. Running in issues #107-109, the story deals with a rescue mission following the events of “Abyss,” set for May 2013.

BPRD: Sledgehammer by Mike Mignola and Jason Latour. Running two issues on its own, the story takes place in 1944 and deals with “a man in a suit of iron” fighting Nazis (’nuff said) and is set for March 2013.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
