Marvel Comics have announced “Giant-Man,” another ‘War of the Realms’ tie-in limited series starting this May. Written by Leah Williams with art by Marco Castiello, the three-issue comic will see four of the Marvel Universe’s Pym Particle-powered heroes – Giant-Man (Raz Malhotra), Goliath (Tom Foster), Ant-Man (Scott Lang), and Atlas (Erik Josten) – team up to battle the Frost Giants, who have conquered Florida and renamed it New Jotunheim.

According to the press release, the size-changing quartet are tasked by All-Mother Freyja to infiltrate the Frost Giants’ new territory, and things will become more complex when they are tasked with killing the Giants’ progenitor himself, Ymir. “But how exactly will they penetrate Laufey’s forces? By becoming masters of disguise!”
Not counting Hank Pym’s headlining feature in the ’60s anthology “Tales to Astonish,” this miniseries marks the first time Marvel has used “Giant-Man” as the title of a comic (as opposed to “Ant-Man” or “Black Goliath”). It is Williams’s second miniseries at Marvel, following the ‘Age of X-Man’ tie-in “Age of X-Man: The X-Tremists,” which starts on February 27. It also marks Italian artist Marco Castiello’s first series at Marvel since 2008’s “Secret Invasion: Front Line,” although some of his “Star Wars” work at Dark Horse has been republished by the company.
“Giant-Man” #1 will be released in May.
