Now that Fear Itself is over, all of the books that had been tied into it are going to have to start finding new ground to cover, including Journey Into Mystery — a title that launched as an offshoot of Fear Itself. With Loki’s plan to save Thor now somewhat proven useless against the forces of Dark Asgard, it looks like Loki’s time to pay up for all his various trickery is upon us, and it’s going to be Daimon Hellstorm who gets to bring him to justice. Gillen has been writing Loki for quite some time now, so it’ll certainly be entertaining to watch Loki get some comeuppance for all of his sneaky behavior.
Joining series writer Kieron Gillen on the book will be Rich Elson, whom you may remember from Gillen’s Siege arc of Thor. The arc begins in January 2012, and is described by Gillen as a perfect jumping on point for those of you who didn’t read the Fear Itself arc, so make with the buying. However, for those of you who haven’t been reading this book yet, I have but one question: … why?
