Announced today at IGN, it looks like one of our favorite new books “Burn the Orphanage: Born to Lose” is not the end of the adventures of Rock, Bear and Lex. In fact, in addition to a collection hitting on May 7th, a new series will begin entitled “Reign of Terror,” a five-issue mini that finds Rock returning home to a city under siege.

“Burn the Orphanage” is an incredibly fun series, a callback to things like Streets of Age where the two issues we’ve been given continuously up the ante and reinvent what the comic is in the middle of the comic. The new series sounds like it might be a little bit more streamlined than the current story, which consists of three over-sized one-shots, and it’ll be great to see Grace and Freedman have even more room to evolve their characters and continue their excellent riff on classic brawler games.

The final issue of “Born to Lose” is out next month. “Reign of Terror” and the first trade are out in May, right on time for you to get caught up and into the game. Hit start now!

Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
