Curious as to how everyone’s favorite drill sergeant will look like up on the big screen? Well, ComicBookMovies.com has the exclusive first look up today for all the internet to enjoy and repost!

This is a bit different than the original design. According to the report, this is because the filmmakers wanted to avoid having too many aliens with “humanoid features.” How a space pig can look humanoid is sort of beyond me, even in the concept art, but never the less. The thing about Kilowog that I can’t fully tell from the picture is exactly where is mouth ends. He looks to have a normal enough mouth here, but then you see those dangly bits on the side and you begin to wonder…

Either way, it’s an interesting shot. I can only imagine how it’ll look fully rendered on the big screen next to Ryan Reynolds. We also still don’t have an actor/voice actor for the role, which is kind of surprising, because despite reports of him and Tomar Re being in the film we haven’t seen anything about who will be playing those roles. Odd.

What do you think of the movie version of Kilowog? Let us know in the comments!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
