Greenwood and Johnston Tease New Comic, The Fuse from Image

Originally shared on Instagram as far as I can tell (with a hat-tip to the Beat), a new comic is being teased entitled The Fuse by artist Justin Greenwood and writer Antony Johnston. While I would’ve admittedly first guessed it might be a new webcomic, there’s also a website for it, which tacks on the famous Image “I”, so I’d probably put my money on a print comic instead.

Now, it’s important to note that Johnston has the upcoming “Umbral” (out this week) with “Wasteland” co-creator Chris Mitten, and Greenwood took over art duties on “Wasteland” after Mitten retired from the title. With Johnston and Greenwood collaborating again here, I can only expect great things — as should you.

There’s no additional news on when this is to be announced or any further details, but if I had to venture a guess I’d probably say something like “space” and “soon.” We’ll see.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
