The first pictures of Emma Stone in character as Gwen Stacy have arrived online now. The scene pictured here is some kind of funeral sequence with Gwen Stacy in attendance. I think we can probably guess that they’re burying Uncle Ben here, and I suppose that it’s safe to say Gwen Stacy doesn’t find this death funny either. Let’s just assume someone told Emma Stone a funny joke, probably about how they solicited money and gift cards in exchange for various verbal bragging rights.
Either way, Emma Stone looks much better here than she did on the previously seen runway shot (no offense, Emma). CBR notes that she isn’t wearing her “signature” hairband, but she does very much look the part at the moment (although one can’t help but wonder why she can’t be MJ). No shots of Andrew Garfield yet, but we’ll keep you posted on what we find.
