Has Deadpool Team-Up Been Cancelled?

A while ago, Marvel gave readers the option to vote to cancel one of two Deadpool books. Accompanying this vote was a Skottie Young image of Deadpool holding an issue of Deadpool Corps and Deadpool Team-Up. Of course, Rob Liefeld spoke up very soon after stating that the vote was rigged since Corps was supposed to be a 12-issue story tops. Hmm.

Today, over at Comic Book Resources, the Marvel X-Office has sent over a series of solicitations (covers only), one of which features that Skottie Young image holding two issues of Deadpool Team-Up, seen here. Hmm.

So what could this mean? Is Deadpool Team-Up on the way out? Is Deadpool Corps still ending at issue #12? Does this mean Deadpool MAX is still safe, and if so – why? I assume the answers will be revealed with the upcoming solicits from Marvel.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
