Forget bootlegs, take this: the trailer for the all-new Amazing Spider-Man film starring Andrew Garfield!
It’s rather dark, and I’m not talking about lighting. Instead of the goofy/light-hearted romp that was the first Tobey Maguire film, it looks like Marc Webb is taking this reboot right off the bat into a more gritty world, perhaps to combat the popularity of the Batman franchise. On top of that, it looks to re-do Spider-Man’s origin again, but with new details: Norman Osborn isn’t here, and Spidey will be tied instead to Curt Conners in his origin, thus setting up the villainous Lizard appearance. Also, something about dead parents, and that’s always fun!
Although, I have one criticism: Andrew Garfield is far too handsome to play Peter Parker. Seriously. Look at him!
