Hector Hammond And Hal Jordan Look On In Green Lantern Still

If Marvel is pushing something heavily, even if not directly, you can bet DC will come out and do the same (or vice versa). Such is the case with this new Green Lantern shot (fresh off succesfull comic-turned-movie shots from Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor, and X-Men: First Class) that features Hector Hammond and Hal Jordan standing and looking on at … something.

While we can’t be sure what they’re looking at, this is the first official, easy and steady shot we’ve seen of Hammond pre-mutation – and you know what? He still looks like a big ol’ creep! Ooops. He’s certianly not half as dashing as he was in Secret Origin, and it looks like his vying for Ms. Blake Lively’s affections might be in vain due to that receding hairline and creepy, creepy mustache.

Green Lantern is set to come out this summer along with 3 other superhero movies, all from Marvel. It’s certainly going to be a rather large bout of Marvel Vs. DC if there ever was one!

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
