Zack Synder (“300,” “Watchmen”) has been searching for his Superman/Clark Kent since being given the reins of the upcoming Christopher Nolan produced Supes film, and now he’s found him. Henry Cavill (“The Tudors,” “Stardust,” “The Count of Monte Cristo”) will be donning the tights as the Man of Steel.
Although, like everyone, I have limited experience with the relatively unknown Cavill, what little I have seen is impressive. He has gravitas and an air to him that makes it feel like he could be a very successful Kal-El, plus he looks the part. I’m eagerly seeing what will come out of this movie.
