As taken from a recent shoot for the upcoming Spider-Man reboot directed by Marc Webb, take a look at your first snap of doomed love with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, the film’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy respectively, sharing a kiss on a school bench. A whole slew pictures of the acting duo have showed up online thanks to the eyes over at Celebrity Gossip, who also point out that in a recent interview with Jay Leno, where she apparently said, “There’s a few ‘Spider-Men’ [movies]. So I may have to keep [my blonde hair] for a couple of years.” Which is all well and good, except for that extremely operative “may” word. While the villain of the first film isn’t Green Goblin, I still wouldn’t be surprised to see her on top of a bridge by the end of the second film (if only because of Sony’s inability to not meddle and pander.
Of course, one can’t help but notice a) that Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker is pretty much dressed like a hipster here, and b) he is way too handsome to be just a nerd who everyone picks on. Seriously! Look at that smolder and that hair! How are we supposed to believe that everyone hates Peter Parker for being a nerd when he’s so gosh darn handsome! No wonder Gwen Stacy fell for him – he’s adorable.
Ahem. I suppose I couldn’t/shouldn’t have expected a sweater vest and tie with glasses, huh? And at least he looks about a thousand times better than the last one outside of the mask (sorry, Tobey).
