Appearing on BBC Radio 1′s The Matt Edmondson Show in promotion of X-Men: Days of Future Past, Hugh Jackman performed a humorous rendition of “Who Am I?” from Les Miserables somewhat in character as Wolverine, everyone’s favorite gruff mutant that Jackman has no performed as in six films. It’s not as elaborate as our version of Wolverine the Musical that appeared on our podcast The Hour Cosmic (twice!), but it’s still amusing.

And, if nothing else, it reaffirms our love of Hugh Jackman.

But there’s one thing our version of Wolverine the Musical will always have over Hugh’s — I didn’t choke on the final note. Looks like Wolverine’s mutant healing factor wasn’t the only thing he lost recently, am I right?

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
