This is the last Comic-Con based post for the day, I promise. I think.

But, in rather big news, acclaimed publisher of Euro Comics here in the States Humanoids is coming to San Diego Comic-Con for the first time in nearly a decade, and they are bringing goodies with them. Goodies that you’ll want.

You’ll be able to get a fair deal of their regular books and other freebies, but what’s interesting about it is that every single day Humanoids will offer different discounts on different books. For those of you looking to dip your toe in the Humanoids water and/or to pick-up that book you’ve always wanted but never been able to get, now is the time!

But what’s more is that, in terrifically exciting news, Humanoids will be joined by José Ladrönn to promote the recent release of “Final Incal,” which will be on sale. Not only that, but in addition to the book you’ll have the opportunity to buy convention exclusive Tarot cards, featuring characters from the Jodoverse, illustrated by Ladrönn. It will, as all show exclusives, be extremely limited and awesome for those who managed to grab them.

I don’t have to tell you how great “Final Incal” is. At least, I don’t think I do as I wrote an incredibly lengthy review of it in which I claimed that the book was so beautiful that it didn’t even really need its legendary writer attached to it. With art by Ladrönn and Mœbius, you’re pretty much set. So if you have the chance to grab the book and the tarot cards, you’d be doing yourself a favor.

Humanoids Press Release

Humanoids Inc. returns to the biggest show of the year for the first time in almost a decade, San Diego Comic Con.

Humanoids will be set up at booth #1707 and will be packed to the brim with all the titles you know and love, plus all the latest releases. We will have both editions of Final Incal (Oversized Deluxe & Ultra-Deluxe Coffee Table) on hand, but please note that quantities will be limited.

Joining us at San Diego Comic Con will be none other than José Ladrönn, artist on Final Incal. Ladrönn will be doing two signing sessions every day (and one session on Preview night). This will be the perfect opportunity to pick up a copy of Final Incal, if you haven’t already, and get it signed by the artist.

San Diego Comic Con is renowned for its show exclusives, and Humanoids will be debuting our own exclusive for SDCC, with a unique pack of 10 Final Incal-inspired Tarot Cards (2.75” × 4.75” or 70mm × 120mm). We will also have contests, sales, and freebies. Discounts will change daily, so make sure to stop by every day to see which of your favorite titles are on sale. Follow our website, Facebook, and Twitter feeds for daily updates from the show.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
