You read the headline. Image is giving away tons of #1’s via comiXology today (196 to be exact), including books like the just released Shutter #1 and fan favorites like Saga and East of West, and I heartily recommend you trying some of their books out if you’ve missed them. I for one picked up Manifest Destiny, Sovereign and Rat Queens, and having already read the Kurtis Wiebe written, Roc Upchurch drawn #1 since downloading it, I can say this is already one of my favorite comic sales ever: that comic is amazing. Perfectly timed too, as I’m now going to pick up the first volume at my local shop during Free Comic Book Day.
So once you get home from FCBD celebrations, make sure to check out this sale. You’ll be glad you did.
