Heads up, Steve Niles fans — this is your year.

Reported by our man on the floor Gilbert Short, it looks like in addition to working on American Muscle with Kevin Mellon for Creator Owned Heroes, Steve Niles has two new books debuting at Image.

The first, Crime and Terror, features the triumphant return to comics of Scott Morse on art. (See image to the right.)
The second, Chin Music, features the also triumphant return to comics of Tony Harris on art. (See above image for a glimpse of what you could expect from the book, as seen on Steve Niles’ twitter.)
We don’t know too many details about the books beyond the above information, but one thing is for sure: it’s all awesome. Image is absolutely killing it this evening, and we’re not done reporting everything yet.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
