Marvel can’t have all the fun, right?

Well, the above teaser from Image just arrived in our inboxes (as well as those of other websites, we’d imagine. Simply reading “New,” we know nothing about it other than it is in some way related to Skybound, Image and assumedly NYCC.

I’d speculate further, but… well. There’s nothing really to speculate on, is there?

Although I will admit I do like the gag.

Update, 12:05 PM – And now we have two words. I’ll keep it all within this one post, because it probably won’t make sense otherwise.

That said, “new horror” from Skybound — the imprint belonging to Robert Kirkman of “The Walking Dead” fame — does seem like there’s probably some relation there, no?

Update, 2:02 PM – Ah, see, there’s the Kirkman connection! With Paul Azaceta whom you may know as the artist of “Graveyard of Empires.” What do you suppose all this is, then?

Update, 4:46 PM – And I would assume this is the final teaser. We’ll find out right as NYCC kicks off.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
