A new Nick Spencer mini begins this week, and seeing as Nick Spencer is the red hot writer of the year and everything he writes you should buy, Image has been releasing a few extra teasers to give the book a bit of an extra push (not that it needs it because it looks great – have we mentioned we like Nick Spencer on this website?). The teasers are parodying popular magazine covers as they discuss the product available in the comic: an app that allows you to take a vacation in alternate realities as whatever you want to be, with the story of the comic being that one man becomes wrapped up in a conspiracy with the realities as various versions of him begin to die. Sounds awesome? Yes it does.

Take a look at the wonderful Wired (the only magazine really worth subscribing to in print!) parody above, and for one additional teaser, check behind the cut!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
