It’s been a very long and very odd road, but Image has finally revealed what their crazy teaser campaign is: it’s a new book called Butcher Baker The Righteous Maker. The book will be written by Joe Casey (the Man of Action responsible for Godland) and Mike Huddleston (The Homeland Directive), and will be $2.99 (hooray!).
The cover is a nice close u of everyone’s favorite male section – the stomach! This explains the “bb” element of the Image teasers, both as a double for “belt buckle” and Butch Baker.
Of course, the plus side of Image’s crazy teaser campaign is that now I and the other MC members are rather interested in picking up this crazy looking book. Add to the fact that it’s Joe Casey, and you have sold me on the first issue. While we don’t know much about the story or anything surrounding it, we’ll let you know more as we get the information.
