Apparently Marvel is so heartbroken over the end of Greg Pak’s critically acclaimed run on everyone’s favorite Jade Giant that they are actually putting the book to bed with his final issue on the title.

According to the official press release, which was accompanied by the image to the left:

Greg Pak’s biggest story yet, “Heart Of The Monster”, brings dire consequences to the Green Goliath and those close to him.

What happens when the furious monster inside Bruce Banner says, “ENOUGH”?

The writer of Planet Hulk and World War Hulk brings his critically acclaimed Incredible Hulks run to a close…with a SMASH.

Catch the oversized final issue of the long running series, with a monster sized story and dozens of extras celebrating Greg Pak’s run, that no fan of the Jade Giant can miss.

While a relaunched “Incredible Hulk” book an almost guaranteed certainty, this makes me wonder why Marvel is even bothering to reboot their books to their original numbering at all at this point.

More on this as we get it!
