Back in Artist August we did an interview with Christian Ward, discussing his career and getting an update on “Infinite Vacation” #5, the long-delayed finale of his mini-series with Nick Spencer. During the interview, Christian noted, “I’m ploughing through the pages I have slowly but surely. The end’s certainly in sight. The delays have been a mixed blessing and have certainly been a big sources of anxiety for me.” He then shared with us an exclusive look at some of the pages from the upcoming issue, just to prove to you that yes, he was in fact hard at work on the book.

Well, wouldn’t you know it: Friday night, after the Multiversity offices closed for the weekend, a teaser image appeared in my inbox with the note that all of the art for the book is done. Additionally confirmed by Spencer, the 60+ page issue of multiverse hopping excitement is set and just about ready to be added into your collection.

Folks who have been waiting for the issue patiently, look for it sometime next year. Tradewaiters? Get equally excited.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
