We live in exciting times. Case in point: this week, I got to read a new Greg Rucka/Cully Hamner comic starring Renee Montoya as the Question- that’s pretty dope, by all standards. Also pretty dope is the revelation that, just 15 or so hours from now, Marvel Studios and Netflix are dropping the entire first season of Daredevil in our laps for us to enjoy.
So, how do we celebrate/embrace this moment? By doing with Michelangelo and Rembrandt would have done if they were alive today: live tweet it.
That’s why we’ve created @MultiversityTV – this is going to be our home of talking about the biggest events in comics TV while they happen. We are going to be covering, in real time, all the big finales to your favorite shows, as well as going on binge watching marathons when Netflix drops their Marvel series. Tomorrow is our first foray into this brave new world, with our own Alice W. Castle (@FallofthePoets) live tweeting the entirety of Daredevil season one in one sitting (save for bathroom/snack/stretching breaks).
Starting at 3pm Eastern, you can follow along with Alice as you both dive into Hell’s Kitchen with everyone’s favorite blind superhero. Be warned, spoilers will surely be spewing from Alice’s fingers, and there will probably be moments of heavy snark – if not, it wouldn’t quite be live tweeting, now would it?
We will be using the hashtag #MCvsDD for the whole shebang, so feel free to join in the conversation. Alice will try to interact with other viewers as well, so jump in with your thoughts/observations/jokes about Vincent D’Onofio’s Men in Black character.
