Today brings us the release of the Iron Man 2 trailer and the fangasm that comes with it. The massive amounts of comic fans and casual fans created by the first film will most certainly be excited about this release, and I have to admit, it looks like it is on its way to being every bit of the blast the first film was. I could have used a little more fleshing out of Sam Rockwell and more than 2 shots of Don Cheadle, but they establish Mickey Rourke’s Whiplash as a badass in his short time. We even get a quick shot of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, which is sure to drive fanboys worldwide positively bonkers.
Without a doubt, they have another hit on their hands. Speaking for myself, I will be there opening night, and May 7th, 2010 cannot come soon enough. I’d say don’t miss the trailer, but I know there is no way that is possible if you come to this site.
