Probably not, but Marvel is teasing as such. Gambit, in his Death “mode” (or whatever we call it), stands on a balcony in the rain in the latest teaser from Marvel for the post-Shadowland world. This is of course one of the images shown at Comic Con, along with the one of Nova from yesterday.
While I doubt that Gambit will take over being Daredevil (or Nova or anyone else, for that matter), it is interesting to see Marvel toss out these assumedly red herrings in order to give us a brief inkling of what to expect once Shadowland is all said and done. Will Daredevil die? Will Matt Murdock give up? How can the Man of Fear, a title specific to Daredevil, be given to someone else? Only time will tell.
