Is Michael Clarke Duncan Going To Play Darkseid In Man Of Steel?

As found by a user on Reddit, a new credit has appearend on IMDb’s Man of Steel page featuring Michael Clarke Duncan as Darkseid. Duncan, who recently voiced Kilowog in DC’s Green Lantern film, obviously has the powerful voice that one would imagine Darkseid would have, and even fits the look of Boss Dark Side, so if this is in anyway true, it is a) awesome and b) marks the third villain to appear in the new Superman film alongside Lex Luthor and Zod, as well as sets a high bar for the upcoming Superman franchise relaunch.

Granted, this isn’t proof or even information we can take to any bank. While it’s not as easy as Wikipedia, IMDb can be updated by users. However, keep your ears to the ground, and we’ll see what happens.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
