Is The Falcon the new Man Without Fear?

I’m running out of clever and admittedly snarky remarks to make with these posts! That’s ok though. I think the Falcon becoming the new Man of Fear wouldn’t actually be a terrible thing. I don’t think he would neccesarily fit in as the protector of Hell’s Kitchen, but out of the characters mentioned he is the only one not part of an ongoing. Giving the title to him would actually give the Falcon some page time, and that’s something that I support. Granted, the Falcon has an occasional recurring role in Captain America, but I’m pretty sure Brubaker has got a whole thing planned for the next couple months that don’t include Cap’s best buddy.

Ah well. I don’t think the Falcon will get to be the new Man of Fear, but I can’t deny that I haven’t enjoyed the art for these teasers. It’ll be interesting to see what comes out of Shadowland considering the teasers.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
