Out of the wild blue yonder, it appears the good folks at Isotope Comics and iFanboy have teamed up with writer Grant Morrison to put on the rather enigmatically named MorrisonCon for Fall 2012. The con will star Grant Morrison at its center, who will be hand picking nine comic creators to appear at the convention for the duration of the show.
Beyond that, there is no information whatsoever. Due to Isotope’s involvement, you can probably expect this to be a West Coast deal, although what a show with ten creators can accomplish against all the other fall conventions is certainly fairly audacious and open-ended at the moment.
Then again, with Grant Morrison involved, you can be assured that it will be interesting and successful regardless. Heck, we already want to go. Do you suppose there is any room on the bill for a website that was initially named for a comic Morrison said he was writing two years ago?
