Fresh in our e-mail inbox straight from Dark Horse, we have the above teaser that alludes to a title announcement for Spring 2012 (according to the e-mail subject), with the promise of more information as soon as next week. Currently, in the ongoing BPRD book, the series is sub-titled “Hell On Earth,” which was born out of the last major BPRD in which Liz Sherman finally defeated the previous Big Bad of the Black Flame and his legion of frogs, although inadvertantly setting the world up for disaster. It seems that, as bad as things currently are becoming, it’s only going to get worse for our intrepid heroes.
The body also suspiciously looks like Roger the Homunculus who, while dead and having died a pretty good guy, could’ve theoretically gone to Hell to be eaten by some kind of demon.
Although, this does remind me — isn’t there another major Mike Mignola character who is supposedly in Hell and is supposedly going to get a book in 2012 about being in Hell? Huh. I wonder if that is, in any way, related to this.
