Earlier this week it was announced that Jeph Loeb, writer of such hits as Ultimatum and Hulk, would be the head of the TV division over at Marvel.com. Today Marvel released a short video of Loeb talking about his plans for the future of Marvel TV, including a brief look at a poster for Ultimate Spider-Man and some teases about when new information would arrive. Take a look:

One network is mentioned in particular: ABC. This should be no surprise as Marvel is now owned by Disney, and Disney owns ABC. However, what could the hour-long live action drama be? Looks like we have to wait until SDCC to find out – and that’s a very short time away! Keep your eyes and ears open as we wait for what’s to come.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
