Jerome Opena’s Fear Agent: Volume 6 Cover Is Amazing

By now I will assume that we have all seen Tony Moore’s final Fear Agent cover, yes? Good.

Well, last week, Matthew Wilson posted on his blog the colored finishes to Jerome Opena’s final cover to the last trade volume of Fear Agent – and it is beautiful. Those who have read Fear Agent have grown quite fond of poor Heath Huston, and the last volume put him very violently through the ringer. With the series in it’s last arc, nothing is getting easier for him, and it looks like it’s time for him to check out and save the universe. And if the above image does not capture those emotions most perfectly, then I just don’t know what will.

The final issue (#32) was supposed to come out in February, but I suppose it’s safe to assume Remender and Moore are a tad bit busy right now with Venom (and Uncanny X-Force, for that matter). I can’t be the only one biting my nails since #30, right? Either way, look forward to this bad boy in stores eventually (and the two Fear Agent omnibi months later).

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
