Now this is a good pick for a New Avenger! Today, the fourth member of Brian Michael Bendis and Stuart Immonen’s New Avengers team was announced, and it is none other than Bendis created, Alias starring Jessica Jones (aka Jewel). With her former solo title being one of the more critically adored ones in recent memory and one of Bendis’ more well loved mainstream touchstones, this is a boon for comic fans worldwide.
Who is not a good thing for? Their baby Danielle. If they are off fighting Fin Fang Foom, who is at home watching their baby?! Child Welfare Services are going to have a field day with that family.
New Avengers launches in June. Cue speculation on who tomorrow’s announcement will be. My guess? Iron Fist! Here’s hoping I’m right, because this book will rule then.
