Gotta get back, back to the past, Samurai Jack!
If you somehow missed out on the excellent Cartoon Network show, Samurai Jack, created by the visionary Genndy Tartakovsky, then you missed out on one of the best cartoons ever, sadly. But while you feverishly search the internet (they’re on Netflix, by the way) to watch them, I have good news! Jim Zub, writer of “Skullkickers”, will be writing a “Samurai Jack” series for IDW starting this October!
Zub will be joined by the original character designer of the show, Andy Suriano, on art for the five-issue miniseries. He also confirmed that the series will be set after the show and will pick up where it left off. So, you might want to be quick on that rewatch before it comes out.
In the meantime, though, Jim Zub has the press release about the series as well as the solicitation and covers (one is by Tartakovsky himself!) for the first issue. Check this out for sure.
