One of our favorite artists here at MC is Mr. Joe “Morning Glories” Eisma. Eisma’s incredibly versatile with a cinematic vision and an eye for facial impressions, and his ever evolving work on “Morning Glories” has been fantastic. Of course, given that he’s attached to one of Image’s biggest selling ongoings, it’s not often that you see Eisma on anything else outside of that one Gutters strip that one time and a few pin-ups, like in this month’s “Secret Agent Poyo.”

Now, for a special one-and-done issue of “Higher Earth,” Joe will be joining series writer Sam Humphries for an issue that explores the secret origins of Higher Earth — and we’ve got a few teasers to share with you for the issue:

Look for the issue come September. We’ll have more with Eisma on this very subject matter soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
