According to DC’s blog, The Source, Geoff Johns and Jim Lee will be appearing at the Hero Complex Film Festival on June 11 to talk the Man of Steel. This makes sense, considering the upcoming Zack Snyder film, but there’s one thing that the blog says that is particularly telling:
What does DC have in store for Superman and can this young, hot creative duo launch Clark Kent and his alter ego into the future?
Well, that’s certainly interesting. Are Johns and Lee going to take over the book as writer and artist? There has been rumor of the two collaborating on a JLA book for some time, but that hasn’t really gone anywhere. Then again, as they’re involved more with the business side of things now (Lee especially), perhaps they’re just the messengers for what’s to come. Either way, keep your ear to the ground on June 11 (and by that I mean your browser on Multiversity Comics) in order to find out, especially since this will probably have a lot to do with the post-Flashpoint DCU.
