While “Journey into Mystery” hasn’t been the books title for all 655 issues, it’s always sad to see such a high numbered book get canceled, as the series is ending with #655, as confirmed by Kathryn Immonen.
Much more sad? This book is awesome. Featuring brilliant character work, an excellent lead in Sif and beautiful art from Valerio Schiti (and friends), this is a book that deserved a bigger audience but sadly did not get one. I’m not sure what we’re seeing next for the character and/or the creators, but I’m hoping we’ll have big things for them in the future.
Seriously Marvel, get Valerio Schiti on something big ASAP. Maybe on that much rumored Young X-Men book? We could go for that.
