You read that headline. In an exclusive reveal to the Wall Street Journal, Warner Bros. revealed their plans to bring the Justice League to the movies, although almost nothing was shared that doesn’t also fit for “Superman vs. Batman” which is slated to arrive in 2016.

In my post about Ray Fisher being cast as Cyborg in “Superman vs. Batman”, I wondered why they didn’t just call this movie “Justice League”, what with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg appearing in it at the very minimum. In the WSJ article, they shared that all of them would carry over into the “Justice League” film but with likely others, and that “Man of Steel” and “Superman vs. Batman” director Zack Snyder taking the reins on it, making it seem even stranger that they didn’t.

It’s “unlikely to come out before 2018” according to the article, but for all intents and purposes, “Superman vs. Batman” will be a soft launch of this franchise.

More on this as we get it. Back to “Game of Thrones”.
