The tween-girl oriented chain store Justice has announced the first graphic novel from their newly formed entertainment division Justice Studios. “Ultra Squad” follows four girls as they battle an evil force that threatens all life on Earth, and was written by Julia DeVillers (How My Private Personal Journal Became a Bestseller) and illustrated by Rafael Rosado (“Monsters Beware!”).

The squad is composed of four girls named Posey, Anna, Lyric, and Sky who work together and use their unique talents to make a difference in and out of this world.

Lece Lohr, president of Justice said, “At Justice, we are and always have been wholly invested in empowering girls in unique ways while providing a positive and safe platform parents can trust. Through ‘Ultra Squad’ and its relatable characters, we can show our girls that teamwork and positivity can make all the difference in the world.”

Justice Studios launched in October as a joint partnership between Justice Clothing and Elevate Pictures, which plans to announce many new projects going forward – including a second “Ultra Squad” book to be released early 2019.

“Ultra Squad” will be released in stores and online Saturday, November, 3, 2018. To celebrate the launch, “Ultra Squad” will be free in-store with a purchase of $25 or more while supplies last.
