Ever since The Strange Talent of Luther Strode began, fans have been asking: “Why just six issues? Why not a whole series? Will there be more? Please tell us there will be more!” Heck, the trade paperback itself was listed as Volume 1, and we’ve been playing the pro-Luther Strode now since before it was even released (and then some). Anyone who has read the book knows it has infinite possibilities for growth. As one of the hottest and most popular new books to come out of Image last year, it’d be a bit foolish not to do more, wouldn’t it?

While the sixth issue hasn’t hit stands yet (it’s set for release March 7th), today Justin Jordan confirmed that he has begun work on a new volume of the story, entitled The Legend of Luther Strode. (And we were so sure it was going to be called Luther Strode 2: Gorelectric Boogaloo.)

You may now commence rejoicement. Personally, we’ll be doing some dancing.

No word on when this will possibly be released but I think I speak for everyone when I say as long as Tradd Moore and Felipe Sobreiro are still involved, there is no way this won’t be great.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
